The things that sets Anawangin apart from my other trips:
1. The Cove. It is nature at its best. It has pine trees instead of coconut trees.
2. It was away from the comforts of home and technology. We slept in a tent, there is no electricity and signal. At least they have now public comfort rooms and water pumps which is good only for washing or taking a bath.
3. It was my first time to go mountain climbing and we took a different route going down- the one with no trail . It was an exciting adventure not knowing what was out there or if we were in the right track going back to our camp.
4. Island hopping at Capones Island. I had clear water, sugary white sand and sunset.
5. Buffet meals by Paula. We had a caterer instead of the traditional camping style. We had more time swimming, taking pictures or just chilling in the swing.
6. Charades at 2:00 AM. Imagine everyone was sleeping and one group of campers decided to play charades. Gusto ko tuloy makihula. Wagas ang tawanan nila. I found them cute and funny than annoying kahit napuyat ako :)
